KS3, KS4 & Post-16: A portrait of Linnaeus

Carl Linnaeus was a Swedish botanist, physician and zoologist who developed the modern system of naming animals and plants (binomial nomenclature). He is considered to be the "father of taxonomy". But how much do you know about his life, career and contributions to science?

Through this worksheet, students will develop research and presentation skills, will learn about the topics of classification and taxonomy, and will understand the importance of Linnaeus's work to science.
