Eligibility

To become a Fellow, we ask that you:

    How to apply

Once we receive your Fellowship Application

    • We will acknowledge receipt
    • After each deadline we circulate a list of applicants to the Fellowship, who have the right to send a confidential email to the CEO if they have any reasonable objection
    • Our Fellowship Committee will review your application
    • Our Trustees will elect those who are considered eligible at their next meeting (usually in January, April, June and October)
    • You will then be notified of the outcome of your application
    • If you have been elected to the Fellowship, we will ask you to pay your first Annual Contribution. Fellows from certain countries may qualify for a lower rate. Once this is received, you will be deemed a Fellow of the Society. Please do not submit any payments before you have been notified
    • Following election, you will have the option to attend a welcoming ceremony. These are usually held before our Anniversary Meeting in May and the President’s Lecture in September. Please indicate on the form if you would like more information about this optional ceremony
